Is there a fee or charge?
No. There is no charge or fee to becoming a Card Partner.
How is training provided?
The training is accessed online. It can either be done as a self-guided training package whenever suits you and your staff, or you can attend an online training session led by BuDS. Details will be provided when you apply to join the scheme.
Top-up or refresher training can be provided on request.
Can I download materials for my store?
Yes. Links to downloadable posters and flyers will be sent to you. We will post window stickers to you when you join the scheme.

Can I complain about a Fair4All Card Holder?
Yes. The complaints form is available below. We encourage Partners to report any abuse of the Fair4All Card Scheme by a Holder. If the complaint is upheld, we may withdraw the Card or require the Holder to undergo training.

Complaints form What about disabled people who haven’t got a card?
Disabled people without a Card are still entitled to reasonable adjustments and exemptions. You must talk to them about what they need. We encourage you to signpost them to the Fair4All Card Scheme - you can download a flyer to give them when you receive your materials package.
What if a Fair4All Card Holder complains about us?
If a Fair4All Card Holder complains about a Card Partner, we will always contact you and get your side of the story before resolving the complaint. If you recognise the Card and meet our Scheme expectations, it is unlikely that any complaint would succeed.
We aren’t based in Buckinghamshire, can we join?
Yes! The Fair4All Card Scheme is open to anyone across the UK, Partner or Card User.
Can charities and public sector organisations be Partners?
Yes. We strongly encourage charities and public sector organisations which provide services for the public to be Fair4All Card Partners.
How does the Fair4All Card Scheme meet my legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010?
By becoming a Fair4All Card Partner, you are demonstrating your willingness to make reasonable adjustments as required by the Equality Act. By providing the adjustments shown on the card to Fair4All Card Holders, you are meeting your obligation to provide reasonable adjustments to those customers or service users.
Should a Card Holder bring an action for disability discrimination in the County Court, the fact that you provided the adjustments shown on the card will be admissible as evidence that you used your best endeavours to provide reasonable adjustments as required by law. If necessary, BuDS can be called as an expert witness to this effect.

By becoming a Fair4All Card Partner, you are demonstrating your willingness to provide exemptions as required by the Coronavirus Regulations. By providing the exemptions shown on the card to Fair4All Card Holders, you are meeting your obligation to provide exemptions to those customers or service users.
Should a Card Holder bring an action for damages or disability discrimination in the County Court, the fact that you provided the exemptions shown on the card will be admissible as evidence that you used your best endeavours to provide exemptions as required by law. If necessary, BuDS can be called as an expert witness to this effect.
