1. Apply for the Card

The first step in obtaining a Fair4All Card is to complete the application form. You can apply for one yourself, or someone can apply for you. You will need to provide evidence of your disability and the reasonable adjustments you are entitled to. If you would prefer a bit more help, you can register your interest and we will help you through the process.

2. Receive the Card

Once we have checked your application and received everything we need, we will post you your Fair4All Card. The card features your photo and a list of the reasonable adjustments you are legally entitled to. If we can’t issue you with a card or can’t agree about the adjustments and exemptions in your application, there is a formal appeal process. Your appeal will be reviewed by different people within BuDS and a designated trustee.

3. Use the Card

With your Fair4All Card, you can feel confident about explaining your needs to businesses, organisations, and services.  Many shops, services and organisations are starting to recognise the Fair4All Card. This means that we give them formal accessibility training, however this does not mean that the card can only be used in those locations. We have had successes with cards being used all over the country, and even internationally!
